Audio Technician
The Audio Technician will operate sound boards for live church services, events and studio tapings. The incumbent will be required to work a schedule that includes Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

Responsibilities:
  • All preparation, set-up and operation of sound boards for live church services, events and studio tapings
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Assist with other day-to-day projects as they arise and with other duties in media department as necessary
Position Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in live sound/professional recording studio
  • Knowledge of Protools
  • Ability to work an alternate schedule including Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings as well as flexibility to work on non-scheduled days if necessary
  • Thrive in a team atmosphere; willing to pitch in and help out with any type of task
  • Able to work at a fast pace environment with flexibility to handle constantly changing priorities
  • Degree in related field is preferred

Bus Driver / Special School Events

This ministry with its world–wide platform is affecting every strata of society spiritually, educationally, economically and culturally through the expanse of the Breakthrough television program which airs 24 hours a day/ 7days a week on major TV stations and affiliates. The Bus Driver opening is an as needed part–time casual position. The ideal candidate must have a successful and verifiable work history of at least 2–3 years in the area of transportation.

Primary Responsibilities
    Bus drivers to provide transportation with school–related activities, i.e. field trips, sporting events, etc. throughout the Columbus Metro area.
    Adhere to all Federal regulations and to all additional State of Ohio requirements.
    Preserve order on the bus and enforce school safety regulations, permitting only those authorized to ride.
    Provide transportation for special church events.
    Primary Qualifications
    The driver must be at least 21 and have at least a class B CDL with a passenger and school bus endorsement and authorized to work in the United States.
    2–3 years minimum experience with public or private bus transportation and must be extremely safety–conscious.
    Valid Ohio driver’s license with a good driving record and be insurable.
    Must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2–3 years of a verifiable .employment history with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
    Must successfully pass a BCI/FBI background check.
    First Aid/CPR certified a plus.
    Willing to work any day of the week including weekends.

Computer Lab Teacher
Harvest Preparatory School has an immediate need for a computer lab teacher who will coach and teach students in the fundamentals of computer software and hardware.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume a share of supervisory responsibilities expected of all upper school faculty members
  • Collaborate with grade-level and departmental colleagues on curriculum design and development
  • Required to integrate technology into lesson plans in compliance with the expectation outlined by school administration
  • Provide periodic updates to parents about student progress, via both written reports and in-person conferences

Financial Aid Counselor
Valor Christian College, The School of the Spirit, has an immediate opening for a Financial Aid Counselor.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Work cohesively with Enrollment Services in order to facilitate outstanding services to prospective students and their parents.
  • Provide one–on–one counseling to students on available federal, state, and local financial aid programs, eligibility criteria and application process.
  • Intakes student financial aid documents and processes those documents through the document imaging system, Populi, and the Virtual Financial Aid Office Document Tracking System.
  • Participate in graduation preview, student registration, and re–entry campaigns as necessary responding to financial aid inquiries.
  • Complete weekly reports; assist with monthly accounts receivable reports; attend financial aid training seminars and workshops as required; perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum of an Associate’s degree required from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the USDOE.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in Financial Aid, student services or other federal assistance related programs preferred or minimum of 2–3 years of previous accounting experience at a financial institution.
  • Knowledge of state, federal, and institutional financial aid programs, policies, procedures, and regulations and/or institutional aid programs preferred.
  • High proficiency with excel spreadsheets, Microsoft software, ability to utilize multiple intranet database and software utilization with technical accuracy.

Summary

Harvest Preparatory School is seeking a Substitute Teacher for a long–term assignment starting in January.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Be a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions toward others and develop and maintain rapport with students, parents, and staff by treating others with friendliness, dignity, and consideration.
  • Demonstrate excellent teaching skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, administrative skills, problem–solving skills, and advanced knowledge of various teaching materials.
  • In the absence of the regular classroom teacher to help students to learn subject matter and/or skills that are required for scheduled lessons and to provide meaningful instruction for assigned classrooms.

Primary Requirements
  • Must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.

Reading Tutor
Harvest Preparatory School has an immediate need for an experienced teacher to tutor K-3 students in reading.

Senior Accountant
Summary

Under the direction of the Financial Controller, the Senior Accountant performs advanced professional accounting work including preparing, analyzing and/or auditing financial information, accounting reports, budgets and financial aid grants. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare journal transactions, resolve errors and identify appropriate corrective action
  • Examine financial documents for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established policies and procedures
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Participate in month and year-end processes
  • Reconciliation and management of Prepaid – Expenses, Deposits and Insurance
  • Work across functional lines with managers and staff to identify process improvement opportunities and to develop budget and forecasting strategies
  • Assist with annual financial statement and A-133 audits
  • Perform Accounts Payable duties as needed
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting, business administration, finance or a closely related field from an accredited college/university
  • 5+ years of professional Accounting experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, web browsers and integrated financial systems, preferably Microsoft/Great Plains/Solomon.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, and strong attention to detail
